Electro Diagnostic Medicine

                                                Electro Diagnostic Medicine
Electro diagnostic medicine is the subspecialty in physical medicine and rehabilitation which uses electrophysiological techniques for treatment and diagnosis for neurologic and neuromuscular systems. These studies are used in suspected diagnostics conformation, Pathological definition, and subclinical disease process identification. These conditions treated include nerve complications, carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy, polyneuropathy, Muscular diseases. Conditions that are diagnosed include ALS, muscle dystrophy, Multiple sclerosis. Some of the common practices include electromyography, Nerve conditioning studies. The main aim of this devises is to show the extent of nerve damage and also heeling status.
This provision of this quality EDM requires autonomy and physiology of peripheral nerves and muscles also extensive medical and scientific evaluation.  Interdisciplinary physics and biology of electrical signals generated by nerves and muscles Muscle pain or crumbling. The most common symptoms which required EMG are Tingling, Muscle weakness, Numbness, Limb pain

The most commonly used methods of electrograph are electrocardiography (ECG) which is a process of producing graph with voltage vs. time  which gives the electrical activity of the heart using electrodes placed on skin  this changes in the graph indicate cardiac abnormalities and disturbances in blood flow and cardiac rhythms disturbances
Electroencephalography(EEG) which detect brain disorders and  electrical activates in brain with the help of metal disc attached to scalp it shows wave lines on an EEG recording. It’s done for patients affecting with Brain damage and head injury, Stroke, Sleep disorders, Inflammation of brain (encephalitis), Brain dysfunction also used to detect brain death while in com  Electromyography (EMG) this technique used to detect electrical activates of Skeletal muscles. This consists of a graph which produce electro gram it detects electrical potential produced by Muscle cells which are neurologically activated. This EMG also acts as a research tool for Kinesiology, Disorders of motor nerves also used to control prosthetic devices
