Heart: The human heart is the most important part of our body which performs pumping of blood throughout the body by using the circulatory system, supply essential nutrients and oxygen to the tissues and helps in removing waste and carbon dioxide. If the heart doesn’t perform the above activates it may lead to serious effects or death
ASD Closure surgery: atrial septal defect (ASD) is a type of congenital heart disease usually referred to as heart hole most of these develop during early child stages. In a high number of cases, ASDs are diagnosed and treated successfully with few complications. Most of these conditions it doesn’t show any signs or symptoms patient may look healthy and gain weight and in severe cases of symptoms may include poor appetite, Growth, tiredness, breathing problems, lung infections. The doctor may recommend several lab tests such as chest X-ray, ECG, Echo for determining the size and complications of heart hole and finally the doctor may recommend a surgery
Cardiac Rehabilitation: It’s a simple medical program designed to assist people with heart-related diseases such as Congenital heart disease, Coronary artery disease., Heart failure and other issues. The main aim of the rehabilitation is to get back  the patient to normal life after surgery
Simple steps in Cardiac rehabilitation: It’s done with the team of Physical therapist, occupational therapist, psychologists, Nurses, nutritionists. The main goal in this process is to improve physical fitness and exercise safely, adopt a healthy lifestyle, focus on emotional and mental wellbeing, the teaching of future complications and precautionary measures

  •             Start with slow and steady
  •          Exercise and Aerobics: First Simple assessment maybe done by your therapist to know your body condition levels like bp and oxygen levels before and after sessions. May recommend slow walking, Cycling, roping, climbing stairs and later improve the speed and pace
  •          Recommend  not to lift heavy weights and physical tasks which may affect surgery site  ·         Breath and lungs health: Simple chest breathing and inhale and exhale, Nebulizer for breathing exercise
  •          Nutrition: nutritionist may recommend healthily diet
  •            Emotional and Psychological support to cope up with the treatment may be done by consular or social workers include outdoor activities
  •          Family support and care is important
  •          Reducing Depression and anxiety issues


Conclusion:  Most of the rehabilitation programs will take place at the rehab center or hospital. The rehab team will work together to choose the best exercise that suits individuals and decide how often you need them. But post-rehab measures are also important like regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle, regular check-ups
